Egg Hunt at Grand Pappas

Time to get ready for grand pappas! We all met at Grandpa's House to have the kids search for Easter Eggs that the bunny left for them.

This was Joey's first time so Ryan helped show him how to do it. After the first one, Joey had it down. Everytime Joey would find an egg he would start clapping. It was really cute! Go Joey!

Ryan found all the hard boiled and left the plastic eggs for Joe Joe! It was really cool to watch them find the eggs together! They were having a blast.

Mom and Pappa Robert came too! They love playing with the grandkids.

Grandpa and Uncle Mike joined in the fun. Uncle Mike held Maverick so I could go and hunt with Ryan to find a few of those colorful eggs. Look how Cute Uncle Mike is with Maverick.

We had a really fun time. This is a yearly tradition...at grandpa's house. Ever since I can remember we the Easter Bunny has always found his way to grandpa's house to hide the eggs. The kids absolutly loved it! Family Picture Time!

THE Easter Bunny Came!

Ryan ran downstairs this morning to check to see if the Easter Bunny had come.
I followed after him with the camera. He checked to see if he ate his cookie that he left for him.
"Since we leave, Santa a Cookie, Ryan said we needed to leave the Easter Bunny one as well"
I SEE CRUMBS RYAN...Looks like he came.

Then Ryan searched the house for his basket. He FOUND it!!! Look at all those goodies! Wow The Easter Bunny must sure love you Ryan!

The Easter Bunny is Coming~!

Ryan Daddy and I decorated Easter Eggs tonight and made some cookies for the Easter Bunny.
Ryan told me that I had to put a note on the carton to make sure the Easter Bunny knew to take the eggs from our house and hide them at Grand PAPPAS House! That is what Ryan calls my Grandpa...or to him Grandpa Great. He has called him that ever since he was little.
Ryan is so excited...we had an awesome day at the city Easter Egg Hunt...today. It was more like an Easter Fair ground. We had a pancake breakfast, then an egg hunt, then the kids danced in the the park to a band That was like the WIGGLES! and then we played fair games and got to sit and take a pic with the Easter Bunny. The kids were wiped out by the end of the day. We still managed to get the eggs done at the last minute and make cookies for the bunny. Ryan cant wait to get up and find his Easter Basket that the bunny is going to leave him in the house tomorrow. We are going to church in the morning and then, Around 12:00 we are going to my grandpas to meet up with Arin to find the Easter Eggs. THIS SHOULD BE SOME GOOD TIMES TOMORROW. Happy Easter Everyone!

Baking Bunnies

Well Baking Cookies Anyways! PINK BUNNIES! Ryan loves to bake with me... and Maverick had to join in on the fun. I surprised Ryan with this cute cookie dough for Easter. I thought it would be fun for us to make after dinner tonight. Daddy decided to take the left over and make a pink "Spongebob" out of it.

You can see it cooking away in the oven. Good Job Daddy! We had fun, it was a good night, and the boys went to bed happy with their cookies and milk. Poor Maverick he just wanted to dive right into the dough...so I let him have a little taste. AHHH A LITTLE TASTE WONT HURT ANYONE!

Brotherly Love

Ryan has been such a big helper these past weeks with Maverick. I think they are definitly growing on each other. Ryan wants to hold him more and when Maverick cries Ryan goes over and calms him down. It was so cute the other night I walked in the room and caught Ryan talking to Maverick saying " It's ok Maverick I am here, I am here..." "It's ok, Ryan's Here" HE was patting Maverick's little belly and rubbing his little forehead. I almost died! It melted my heart so much. Ryan is seriously one of the most compassionate people I know. He is so loving, and to see him love on Maverick it made me want to run over to him and kiss him all over for that.

Pinch Me

Happy St. Patty's Everyone! WE LOVE YOU!

GREEN EGGS AND HAM

Well Monday for St. Patty's Day Arin and I met at the park with our kids to join in the festivities. We joined our first play group and met all the mothers and their children for a "LEPRECON PARTY" We all dressed in green and got to wear St. Patty's hats. The kids had a blast. Ryan and Joey played at the park and then later sat down for crafts and cupcakes.

Ryan made a magic wand out of a toiletpaper roll with streamers at the end and then decorated some cupcakes and cookies. We also went on an egg hunt to find the GREEN EGGS in the sand. The kids ran and loaded up there eggs in their leprecon hats. After that we sat down for some lunch " Green eggs and Ham" Well the bread was green and we had some ham sandwiches. It was pretty cool. On the way home Ryan told me he was pretty happy and that he wanted to go again next week. Arin and I are going to start doing this on a regular basis. After that Arin came over and hung out at my house. We took some pics of the kids=It was a really good day.

WE HAVE A MELTDOWN

Well like I said this last week was a rough one...The kids just seem to be a bit fussier than normal. I had to get this shot, but Ryan was not to happy about it. He is pretty stubborn when he gets mad so I usually tell him to go sit and chill out until he can be nice again. "He told me his manners went out the back door today" WELL I SURE HOPE THEY WILL BE BACK SOON... Ryan. He went and hid in the kitchen corner and pulled the cupboard shut. Well the drama lasted a few minutes and then we are back to normal. I thought this was pretty funny though.

Beach Bonanza!

Auntie Sue, Matt & I decided to take all of the boys out Saturday because the weather was so beautiful. We all met down in Newport Beach at the Peninsula.
They have a playground right on the beach for the boys to play at.
I have not taken Maverick to the beach since he was a month old for fear of him getting sick with the cold weather, but today was just perfect.
He loved the sand...I am sure it felt pretty weird on his feet. He grabbed a handful to try and eat it too! LOVELY! Oh well that is a boy for you.
Ryan played with his 2 cousins Jake and Dylan who are three now.
They brought their sand pales and shovels and dug big holes in the sand.
Later we decided to take a walk down the Pier.
Jacob lost his shoe by looking over the side. So we went home with only one shoe that day.
Not bad for 4 boys.... It was a pretty fun day!
