Day at Laguna Beach
Maverick was having the time of his life....he was trying to chase the birds every chance he got.
AND HE IS OFF....
And then we have Ryan, cute as can be in his little green hat ready to start building sand castles.
Uncle Jared and Ryan played together all day at the beach.
.
Here is Maverick with Grandma Kim loving on the beach air. This kid definitley loves to be outside. Yep...it all about having fun with these kids...I wanna goooooooo!
Dad is in Town~
He brought them all out to La Jolla with Dave and Bishop to visit the temple and do some deep sea fishing with them. It was really neat to finally meet all of them.
They got to stay in this gorgeous beach house right off of the La Jolla Cliffs. You could see the ocean right outside thier living room window. GORGEOUS! I told Matt we are going to have to come back and rent this house for ourselves one week.
Jeremiah, Kathy's youngest got to come with them. Ryan played with him the whole time we were down there visiting. Jeremiah....can you come and live with us??? You were so patient and good with Ryan. Jeremiah taught him all kinds of fun games~ Battleship and Connect two Four. Ryan was stuck to him like glue...as you can see.
My mom came down with us as well to get away from Huntington for the day. Joey and Arin got to come to. The front yard was gorgouse...we decided to turn on the hose for the kids and let them run around for awhile. JOEY HAD A BLAST.
Arin and mom left early, but I decided to stay longer until Preston arrived. We went down to Pacific Beach with all the boys and Bishop and had a bomb fire along the bay. We roasted marshmellows and watched Ryan fling them into the bay for the ducks to eat.
That night was a long drive home...just because I had to work the next day. But it was worth it...it is not every day I get to go to La Jolla and See my DAD for that matter. I miss him already. COME BACK COME BACK this visit was way toooo short!
CONGRATULATIONS NICOLE
Auntie Nicole has finally graduated college! JOB WELL DONE! It has been a long journey but she finally made it. We are so proud of you Nicole. HAPPY 8 MONTHS
My little guy at 8 months:
He sings to me in the morning until I wake up.
He uses daddy as a play pen and sits on his head in the morning until daddy gets up.
He is a little flirt.
He loves to smile and laugh.
He always tries to keep up with his brother.
He is my little bear.
He has two bottom front teeth.
He can pull himself up onto any piece of furniture.
He says Dada and Nana. WE are working on the mommy thing.
California Adventure
Ryan and I got to take a mommy and me day to California Adventure. It is the amusement park right across from Disneyland. My mom surprised me with this special treat for Mother's Day since Ryan and I dont get a lot of fun one on one time together since the baby has arrived, she thought this would be the perfect gift. It was well needed and well worth with. Boy did we have fun. THANKS MOM! Ryan and I loved it!
Here are some pics to walk you through our day together.
Everything around you was huge, so that you felt so little!

HAPPY MOMMA'S DAY
To Say Thank you for...
Teaching me to find courage and strength
For showing me that each and everyone of us are a miracle from God
Encouraging me to do the impossible
Loving me unconditionally even when I least deserved it
Believing in me even though I no longer beleived in myself at times
Holding me when I was scared
Sacrificing your life to take care of ours
Taking care of my children
Teaching us to dance like NO one is looking
We are all destined to leave our own unique footprints
To take the most out of your journey
Leave a legacy to your little ones
Family is most important
Smell the flowers
Teaching us it's the little things that matter most.
Keep your word
and most of all
to Beleive in the Fairies!
So much of what we learn, we learn from home. But most of all we learn from our Mother.
I love you! Happy Momma's Day

Holding his own
It was so funny because after their bath the other night I walk in and there they were...both wrestling with each other on my bed. Maverick has this little BEAR noise...where he is just not going to give up no matter what. He is a little animal I tell you.
Look how cute Ryan and Maverick are with each other. I hope they are best friends growing up.
Ryan truly loves Maverick~ He will run in the room and give him a big hug and kiss. Ryan is such a gentle soul.
Disneyland with Grandma Kim
Indiana Jones Ride:
"Alright, Alright...Daddy would love this...daddy would love this! Is that a skull behind me??"
"I made it! See Grandma Kim...That was nothing! Nothing at all! LETS DO IT AGAIN!"
(The hand on the hip says it all)
